The ski area

Located in the Southern French Alps, Serre Chevalier stands as one of the largest ski destinations in the region and is among the most expansive in Europe. The area boasts a diverse selection of slopes suitable for all skill levels. Whether you're just starting out, at an intermediate level, or an expert on the skis, you're sure to enjoy your experience!

The ski area

Serre Chevalier is distinguished by its dual environment, blending serene larch forests, typical of the region, with the opportunity to ascend to high mountain summits for an exhilarating alpine skiing experience. This versatility is a standout feature of the ski area. It efficiently connects three villages and the town of Briançon, which has over 10,000 inhabitants, providing a unique and direct access to ski runs from a town of this size in France.

The ski domain of Serre Chevalier is impressively equipped with 60 lifts, ensuring easy and efficient access to various parts of the ski area. The area features a vast range of slopes, with 80 runs that include 13 black, 30 red, 26 blue, and 13 green trails. This diversity in runs caters to all levels of skiers, from beginners to experts. Additionally, 80% of the slopes are located above 2,000 meters, which contributes to maintaining optimal snow cover.

Serre Chevalier's ski domain is segmented into various specialized zones, each designed for a unique skiing experience:

Fun Zones
Including the EasyBoarder on the Méa plateau in Villeneuve, these areas are crafted for lively and enjoyable skiing moments.

Protected Areas
Specifically designed for families, these areas are ideal for skiing with children, providing a safe and enjoyable experience.

Discovery Areas
Tailored for novices, these zones help beginners comfortably acclimate to skiing.

Nature Zones
Offering an immersive skiing experience, these areas engage skiers' senses and enhance their connection with the natural surroundings.
