The ski area
Serre Chevalier is distinguished by its dual environment, blending serene larch forests, typical of the region, with the opportunity to ascend to high mountain summits for an exhilarating alpine skiing experience. This versatility is a standout feature of the ski area. It efficiently connects three villages and the town of Briançon, which has over 10,000 inhabitants, providing a unique and direct access to ski runs from a town of this size in France.
The ski domain of Serre Chevalier is impressively equipped with 60 lifts, ensuring easy and efficient access to various parts of the ski area. The area features a vast range of slopes, with 80 runs that include 13 black, 30 red, 26 blue, and 13 green trails. This diversity in runs caters to all levels of skiers, from beginners to experts. Additionally, 80% of the slopes are located above 2,000 meters, which contributes to maintaining optimal snow cover.
