The ski area

Your ski pass will give you access to the whole area, including both Val d’Isère and Tignes.

Val d'Isére boasts over 300 kilometers of pistes, catering to skiers of all levels, from beginner-friendly areas to thrilling off-piste adventures. Known for its reliable snow conditions and state-of-the-art lift system, Val d'Isère offers a quintessential Alpine skiing experience with breathtaking mountain views.

Start of the week

For an easy start of the week we recommend you go towards the Pissaillas glacier. Here you will find plenty of natural snow, wide blue- and red runs with less people. On your way back, you can take the Lessières chair lift if you dare. It goes by the nick name “The oh my God-lift” due to the surprising height difference one will experience out of the blue. Later on, you will arrive to the Solaise area with many blue runs – perfect for the first day and a good beginner’s area. If you go down the slope “Arcelle” in Solaise, you will not only enjoy nice skiing, but also the view over the beautiful Manchet valley.

Val d’Isère

From the very center of Val d’Isère, you can access the Bellevarde ski area by taking the Olympique Gondola. This area offers a wide range of different slopes ranging from green to black. One slope to not miss is the World Cup slope Face de Bellevarde. From the Bellevarde top at an altitude of 2 827 meters above sea level, you can choose to either go towards Solaise, go further up to Rocher du Charvet or down to Val d’Isère again. You can reach the Rocher Du Charvet area by taking the Grand Prée chair lift. Here you will find some green slopes and be able to continue towards the Tignes ski areas.

Tignes

When you are ready to explore the areas of Tignes, do not miss to go all the way up to the glacier of Grande Motte on an impressive altitude of 3 456 meters above sea level with a beautiful view over Mont Blanc – the highest peak of the Alps. Tignes offers many different areas that will suite everyone from a beginner to expert. We recommend going all the way down to the lowest part of Tignes, Les Breviéres, at an altitude of 1 550 meters.

When visiting Tignes and the area Le Lac, do not forget to stop at Langley Hotel Tignes 2100 for a stone oven baked pizza, the classic and appreciated Tango burger or something else that suites you.
