Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is a French island located in the Caribbean. It consists of two main islands, Basse-Terre, and Grand Terre. Together, they form the shape of a butterfly. Its rich culture, tropical rainforests, idyllic beaches, and unique environments (including a volcano) are some of the reasons that people from all over the world choose to visit here.

Whether you wake up feeling lazy or adventurous, there are plenty of ways to spend your day in Guadeloupe. Grab a towel and head for the beach, go for a stroll in the rain forests, go swimming in waterfalls, hike up the volcano, go surfing on a volcanic beach, or why not just enjoy a soothing trip to the botanical gardens? The opportunities are endless and diverse.

The locals are very friendly, and many speak English. The main languages are French and Creole. Guadeloupe is a French overseas department which means that it’s part of the EU. Their local currency is Euro.

Guadeloupe is home to a rich wildlife, but unlike many exotic destinations, it is a very safe place to be.  You will most likely get to see lots of beautiful animals. We also recommend that you go snorkelling on one of the many beaches. Sea turtles are quite common, and occasionally, they show up at our resort. Just remember that they are a protected species!
